DJ Qbert Skratch University Curriculum

Qbert responds with individualized instruction and assignments for each student.

The way students learn here at the Qbert Skratch University is unique. Most sites provide only a list of videos to watch. "Students" are left to practice alone and perhaps make mistakes quite early and never correct them.
Learning by Video Exchange gives students the ability to not only watch the videos, but to get that critical feedback from the expert that addresses specific issues.

DJ Qbert developed the art of using the turntable as a musical instrument by inventing styles and creating unique scratching techniques.

Heavily influenced by the styles of world-renowned jazz musician Miles Davis, famous electric guitarists Jimmy Hendrix and Les Paul, pianist Thelonious Monk, and innovative DJs throughout the world, Qbert interprets their compositions and creates sounds and styles that continue to generate a worldwide following.
